![]() ![]() I have installed the openwrt firmware and CAN get it running (nightwatch firmware). ?ĭid anyone get this going? I have a nanostation2 and have the same issue. ![]() ![]() Per BS' comment in the ticket, it seems the wifidog needs the WAN interface and won't work with WAP setup I have.īack to the original question: What captive portal can be used for setting up WAP, where it is connecting to an existing LAN with existing dhcp server, firewall, etc. Ticket #1043 is opened to track this issue. The thing is, I can still access Internet without a problem. I can ssh into the router again, and I can see several instances of wifidog. From v24, DDWrt includes a wifidog daemon that can be easily configured with just a few. Once that's done, saved and applied, I ssh into the router, and find /tmp/wifidog/nf: Wifidog is a client/Server portal system which can fullfil a lot of your client login or splash-only needs. I configured a test auth server, and then configured the WRT610N to use the wifidog mode. (I tried disable/enable the SPI and it didn't make any differences. Since nothing is on the WAN port, I disabled SPI firewall from the GUI. I am using the WAP mode, so I disabled WAN port, and plugged LAN port 1 into the LAN segment and uses existing dhcp, router and firewall on the LAN. I installed BS' latest test build from two days ago on to my WRT610N, and plan to build a wifi network with wifidog. Posted: Sat 6:34 Post subject: wifidog not blocking ![]()
